The DSP application engineer uses the HiveCC software development kit (SDK) to map video codec algorithms implemented in C code onto Silicon Hive HiveFlex processors and/or HiveGo multi-core platforms. He or she ensures an efficient software implementation in terms of total achievable system performance and code size, as well as keeping an overall low power solution in mind. The application engineer also supports customers and partners in using the Silicon Hive SDK.

Job responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure the efficient implementation of high-performance video codec algorithms on Silicon Hive parallel processor platforms.
- Support customers and partners in programming and optimizing software applications on Silicon Hive processor platforms.
